Alexander Wolters is an old board member of the association and will come to give us a lecture about his career, how he came to the job he currently has and what steps he took to get there. The lecture will be accompanied by some drinks and snacks is very interesting as you get to see what life after University entails! So be sure to subscribe!

Alexander studied Organic Chemistry at the University of Groningen, where he received his master degree in 2016. He was an active member of De Chemische Binding in several committees, the foreign excursion commission and as External Relations in the board of 2010-2011. 
After graduation he worked two years as process development chemist in the pharmaceutical industry at Chemconnection (currently Ardena) at the Pivot Park in Oss, before he switched to the plastic recycling industry. Currently he works at Ioniqa in Eindhoven, a company that will very soon open its plant for chemical PET recycling, the first of its kind in the world. 
During his lecture, he will talk about life after graduation and working in industry. Tips and tricks will be shared on how to make career choices and which mistakes to avoid.
