Dearest members,

The annual Career Day is fast approaching and will take place on the 13th of April! During the Career Day we will have three presentations from speakers of various companies, where they will share insights into their work and the journey that brought them there. After the presentations, there is a career market, giving you the chance to ask your questions and interact with even more companies, as well as linkedin and CV check by the career services from the RUG. Following the career market, we have a case study, where you can work on a problem that you could have to deal with in your future career. To finish the day, we have a borrel for some drinks and networking opportunities.

The doors open at 9:00, and make sure to be there before 9:30 as the presentations will start then.

9:30 - Speaker from Gasunie

10:15 - Annemiek Tepper from VO Patents

11:00 - Aparna Rajendra Kumar and Ana Garcia Castillo from DOW

12:00 - Company Market with Torwash, Vitens, TATA Steel, DOW, and IonIQs. The career services from the RUG will be present to do a CV and linkedin check.

15:00 - Case Study with BioBTX

To end the day, at 17:00, there will be a borrel to get some snacks and drinks and of course the opportunity to expand your network.

Attending the career day also gains you a point for the "Industrial Visits and Professional Skills" (Engineering) or "Career Skills" (Chemistry) course, points for this course count as extra credit on your diploma, for more information you can contact the study advisor or the board of De Chemische Binding.
