Programme
The FID (Faculty Introduction Day) will take place on the 28th of August from 9:00 to ~15:35 at Nijenborgh 4 on Zernike campus, the Feringa Building.
The schedule of the FID morning program will be as followed:
8:50 - 9:20 - Registration.
9:20 - 9:40 - Introduction to the FID.
9:40 - 10:00 - General information about the programme of the chemistry/chemical engineering bachelor degree
10:00 - 10:30 - Guest lecture by Martin Witte.
10:30 - 10:50 - General information about mental health and the labs.
10:50 - 11:10 - Break (with coffee, tea and snacks)
11:10 - 11:40 - Guest lecture by Ranjita Bose
11:40 - 11:50 - The first year experience.
11:50 - 12:00 -Break
After 12:00 the afternoon program starts. In the afternoon program you will have your first mentor meeting, get a tour around campus, get a tour of the laboratories that you will be working in this year, have a lab coat and goggle fitting, get an introduction to the KNCV (royal dutch chemistry association) and have an introduction/registration to the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering degree's study association: De Chemische Binding (CB for short).

Friday, 4th of September:
17:00 - Everyone gathers in the Nijenborgh canteen (Nijenborgh 4)
17:30 - Busses leave
19:00 - Arrival at the location (Zeilschool de Stipe, Balk)
19:15 - Introduction to the camp and ICE breaker activity
20:00 - Dinner
21:30 - Group activities
23:00 - Personal Hygiene & Time to sleep
Saturday, 5th of September:
08:00 - Wake up
08:30 - Breakfast
10:00 - Introduction to the Committees
11:30 - Activity
12:30 - Lunch
14:00 - Sports activities
18:00 - Dinner
20:00 - Evening Activities
22:30 - Party
01:30 - Personal Hygiene & Time to sleep
Sunday, 6th of September:
8:30 - Wake up
08:45 - Morning yoga
09:30 - Breakfast
