Every year 'De Chemische Binding' organizes a Parents' Day for the 3rd year students, this is done by a group of 3rd year students. During this day it is shown to the parents where you study, and they will be given a short presentation by 'De Chemische Binding' to show what is done for students. After that, some lectures are given to show them what we are studying. A lab tour is then given to show what is currently done on research within the university. After this, there is the chance to talk with some of the other parents while enjoying some drinks and snacks.
The Parents’ Day committee organizes one or more activities for parents of the members of the association who are in the third year of their study. These activities will be organised on the Parents’ Day. The committee is also responsible for contacting all relevant parties for the activities and communicating everything with the schedule makers.
