For the strategic thinkers and chess players: on the 26th of November, a chess simul will be organized by De CB, FMF and Francken in collaboration with the organisation of the 57th Chess Festival in Groningen.
During the simul, which takes place in the canteen of the Nijenborgh, 3 players play against one strong player of "Meester" level (top 200 of the Netherlands). You can participate! As there's only space for 15-20 players, only 5 members can sign up so don't wait too long. In between the games, you can enjoy some drinks while watching.
Besides that, you are all welcome to visit the chess festival from 21-30 December.
