At the end of May we will visit DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron) with a group of 18 people. This is a fantastic opportunity to see their synchrotron facility. Since we are going on Thursday, there will of course be the opportunity to spend a few days in Hamburg to see the city. Please note that you will then have to make your own way back to Groningen!
Unfortunately the visit is not allowed for people with reduced mobility, as there are lots of staircases and 1.5km of uneven terrain to cope with.
We will travel there by van from Zernike. Make sure you bring food for lunch and dinner, or enough money to buy this! After the excursion we will get some takeaway food for dinner.
The cost has been set at €20.50 per person to cover travel expenses, this may decrease later.
Unsubscription is only possible until 18 May. If you wish to cancel after this date you may still have to pay for the excursion.
