De Chemische Binding

Dear members,

During your studies, you might have become familiar with concepts of electrochemistry on paper, but have you ever wondered how this looks on a commercial scale? De Chemische Binding and the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Programme have organised an excursion to Nobian in Delfzijl! The excursion will take place on the 7th of May. You will be picked up from the Zernike Campus by bus, and transported to the site. Here you will receive a talk and a tour of the facilities. There will also be the oppurtunity to talk to people working at Nobian about what their work life is like. After we get back to Zernike, there will be free lunch for those interested! It will be a very interesting experience of what a career as an electrochemist/electrochemical engineer can look like, so be sure to join! There are sadly limited spots available so sign up quickly!

The deadline to sign up is the 1st of May.

For your information, the bus will pick us up at 08:30 from Zernike. We will be returned to university at approximately 12:30. 

Attending this event also counts for the "Industrial Visits and Professional Skills" (Chemical Engineering) or "Career Skills" (Chemistry) course, points for this course count as extra credit on your diploma, for more information you can contact the study advisors or the board of De Chemische Binding.
