Dear Members,

Introduction to BASF:

At BASF, we create chemistry – and have been doing so for more than 150 years. Our portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. As the world’s leading chemical company, we combine economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility. Through science and innovation, we enable our customers in nearly every industry to meet the current and future needs of society. Our products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. We have summed up this contribution in our corporate purpose: We create chemistry for a sustainable future. In Heerenveen water-based polymer products and high performance additives are developed and produced. The European Printing & Packaging business is steered

The presentation:

During the presentation we will be informed about the recruitment possibilities at BASF and what it is like to work there. There will be three people from BASF present to give the talk and answer your questions: Marjon van den AkkerGerald Metselaar and Kevin Hiemstra. Marjon van den Akker is Executive/HR secretary at BASF, Gerald Metselaar is working in product development and Kevin Hiemstra fulfills the function of process technology engineer. Therefore, this offers for both students an ideal opportunity to compare and to get insight in a possible future at a large chemical company.

The session will be on Microsoft Teams, the link will be send to you via email later.

Hope to see you there!
